SEMS B: more than shielding effectiveness measurement

With its compact transmitter and receiver (106 x 195 x 46 mm), the SEMS B is highly portable and can be easily adapted to any test configuration or location. Both devices are powered by rechargeable lithium batteries, offering an operational autonomy of approximately 6 hours, making them perfect for extended use. Additionally, the inclusion of a USB Type-C port ensures convenient recharging, even in fast-paced operational environments.

A concrete example of the SEMS B’s capabilities is the recent visit of MPB srl's CEO, Jan Bulli Wilkinson, to IMEDCO in Switzerland, a leading manufacturer of shielded chambers.

During this visit, the SEMS B was used to perform comprehensive tests on the shielding effectiveness of a new material designed for use as internal cladding in anechoic chambers.

The shielding efficiency measurements of the door carried out by IMEDCO highlighted its excellent performance in terms of attenuation (well above 100 dB) in the electric and magnetic fields.

This collaboration not only confirmed the material's outstanding performance, but also highlighted how the SEMS B provides precise, reliable on-site analysis.
