Calibration is the process of control and verification performed on an electronic instrument to ensure that its performance and technical specifications comply with those originally declared by the manufacturer.
The procedure is based on comparing the measurements performed by the instrument with a reference instrument (standard), ensuring accuracy, reliability, and traceability of results. If, during the verification or calibration phase, the instrument fails to pass the required tests, a repair intervention is required.
Thanks to established partnerships with specialized and ISO 17025 accredited laboratories, MPB is able to offer different types of calibration, adapting to customers’ operational needs and regulatory requirements.
Calibration performed internally at MPB according to proprietary procedures documented within the ISO 9001 quality management system. The entire process is handled in-house, ensuring optimized turnaround times and direct control over every stage.

Upon arrival, the warehouse verifies the serial number and consistency between the received equipment and the quotation, in collaboration with the sales department and the customer. A visual inspection is carried out and documented with photos, reporting any anomalies.

The instrument is checked for power-up, power supply, battery status, software, and firmware. Measurement performance is verified within specification ranges, along with supplied accessories.

CAL-P is a portable system for testing EMF sensors, selective antennas, and PPE. Used internally by MPB, it enables fast and reliable testing and represents a true game-changer in the calibration phase.

Once functional testing is passed, the instrument is assigned to the calibration bench, entered into the production schedule, and calibrated according to specific procedures. The process ensures full traceability and high reliability.

ISO 17025 accredited calibration guarantees maximum metrological traceability and is required in all contexts where official certificates valid for regulatory, inspection, and audit purposes are necessary.

MPB coordinates the service exclusively through accredited laboratories, ensuring operational continuity, qualified technical support, and complete management of calibration documentation.
