Yes. The reference instruments used for SEMS calibration are part of a traceable chain to laboratories accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025. The SEMS calibration certificate includes the relevant Laboratory Chain of Traceability, listing the reference instruments and their calibration references.

No. The SEMS B is not supplied with an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration certificate. The SEMS B performs relative measurements of shielding effectiveness by comparing the measured signal before and after the shielding is introduced. It therefore does not perform an absolute measurement of electromagnetic quantities. For this type of measurement, the concept of ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration referring to an absolute quantity is not directly applicable to the shielding effectiveness measurement result. The SEMS B is therefore supplied with an MPB calibration certificate, documenting the verification of the instrument’s performance and the traceability of the reference instruments used.

The calibration certificate documents the Laboratory Chain of Traceability, showing the reference instruments used for the calibration and their corresponding calibration references. These references demonstrate the traceability of the measurement chain to laboratories accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025.

Yes, but instruments containing rechargeable batteries may be subject to specific transport requirements depending on the shipping method and carrier.
